A brand new workshop hosted by Esther O’Sullivan, founder of Messy Hands. Having spent the past three years running Messy Play sessions, Messy Camps, birthday parties and events I have found that not all parents and child care practitioners are confident about trying messy play. This workshop has been devised to help you grow in confidence and knowledge about why and how you should bring more messy into your children’s lives!
The workshop will be very hands on, practical, interactive and lots of fun. The aim being that you will leave feeling excited and confident about starting messy play with the children in your care.
To start with you will explore the benefits of messy play for all children, including those with special educational needs.
You will then get to try out some messy play recipes and ideas and consider ways in which they would work for your children and their environment.
Finally you will receive a recipe book which will include tips about how and when to try out new messy play ideas.
The total cost for the 2 hour workshop including messy goodies to take home and a recipe book to support you is €35 per person (group discounts available). The workshop is being held at the Carrigrohane Parish Centre, Ballincollig, Cork from 7pm to 9pm on Thursday 15th February 2018. Booking is essential as places are limited, complete the booking form below, then you will be asked for payment.
