Messy Play Training offers practical, hands on, Aistear focused training for childcare professionals.
The workshop is hosted by Esther O’Sullivan, founder of Messy Hands, it brings together her experience and knowledge of messy play and teaching in an interactive and practical way.
The main aim of the workshop is to provide lots of new and exciting messy play ideas which fully support the Aistear curriculum.
The workshop will also examine the benefits of messy play for the children in your care, this can be particularly relevant for children with Special Educational Needs.
You will then get to try out some messy play recipes and ideas which they would work for your children and their environment. The aim is that you will leave feeling excited and confident about doing more messy play.
You will receive a certificate of attendance along with a useful recipe book which will include ideas, hints and tips about messy play.
The total cost for the 2 hour workshop including messy goodies to take home and a recipe book to support you is €45 per person.
Messy Hands is delighted to offer a brand new training day for Infant and SEN teachers who would like to develop their Aistear curriculum.
This practical, interactive and classroom focused CPD will offer lots of exciting ideas for developing Aistear in a child led classroom. It will aim to leave you excited, confident and full of ideas.
The jam packed day will focus of four main areas of interest;
- Creating a child-led classroom
- Tried and tested Messy Play recipes for classrooms
- Developing the outdoor classroom
- Aistear planning
You will receive training from Esther O’Sullivan, creator of Messy Hands Ltd who is an expert in Messy Play, teacher and parent. Developing Aistear brings together her relevant knowledge and practical ideas to offer a inspirational CPD.
All resources and equipment will be provided plus you will take home all the recipes you have created. You will also receive a Messy Hands recipe book and a certificate at a cost of €80 per person
NB This CPD cannot be used for EPV days.
