Hi, I’m Esther, founder of Messy Hands Ltd. I moved to Kanturk from the UK in 2014. Having left a busy and very demanding career as a secondary school teacher I was looking for a new venture, something that was child friendly as I am mum to two small boys. Messy play sessions are very popular in the UK and I believed there was an opportunity to offer them here and so Messy Hands was born.

Hi, I’m Catherine. I’m a busy fun loving, creative minded mother of two energetic boys. Before I had the boys I achieved my Interior Architecture degree and worked in busy Architecture firms in Sydney Australia. I have recently returned to Ireland and hoped to find a balance between work and family. I have always had a passion for Art and Design. Now I am passionate about giving children the opportunity to experience, experiment and explore art and design through creative play.

In our second year of business we are delighted to be receiving a really positive reception from the parents and children who come along to our Messy Sessions or Birthday Parties. We were very humbled to be nominated for the IRD Duhallow Best New Business Award in 2015.
